Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Supply Chain Manager at ABP Technologies located in Poole. The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for aligning supply chain activities with organisational goals.
Requirements
• Develop, monitor and coordinate the logistics of all aspects of the company’s supply chain strategy.
• Improve productivity and efficiency and reduce costs while securing high quality material for the company.
• Identify suitable suppliers who meet quality, cost and delivery requirements.
• Maintain supply chain inventory and records.
• Train and guide employees.
• Find cost effective solutions for supply chain processes.
• Resolve daily issues.
• Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth.
• Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals.
• Arrange Supply Chain meetings and other meetings as necessary.
• Resolve quality issues and returns.
• Communications with supplier and build good supplier relationships.
• Run reports as required.
• Maintain the MRP system data.
