The ABL3000 is a high power recoilless disruptor designed as a dual role equipment to render safe IEDs found in larger or better protected containers. The ABL3000 disruptor has been subject to a series of formal tests against representative targets, sensitive explosives and pressure measuring systems. These tests ensure a reliable and consistent disruptive performance with complete recoilless operation, minimum collateral damage and maximum operator safety. The disruptor’s enhanced capabilities can be unlocked with a simple substitution of the front barrel assembly and use of the correct projectile. This enables the ABL3000 to operate as a de-armer capable of firing a range of solid projectiles such as the Plain, Chisel and Fork projectile. The ABL3000 is a multi-shot device capable of many firings and requires minimum maintenance. Training may be carried out using the equipment without detriment to its service performance.
