The ABP De-armer Chisel projectile is used to render safe conventional fuzes or IEDs. The Chisel projectile is designed to kinetically cut and smash the fuze of a conventional munition or UXO thereby disrupting the explosive train and preventing the munition from functioning as intended. It is used with the ABL2000 and ABL2000L De-armer.
