The Sentinel is a heavy duty, reliable and robust EOD remotely operated vehicle (ROV) with applications extending to CBRN. The Sentinel has electronically driven actuators controlling the 6 degrees of freedom arm. The manipulator arm has a lifting capacity of 100kgs retracted and 30kgs extended. It has six independent wheel motors which allow for travel over the most difficult of terrains. The Sentinel has an extended radio range of up to 1km in a built-up area and line of sight is >1km using Military Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum and COFDM Video. The Sentinel ROV is supplied as a standard ROV unit with radio communications and its control station.
