The ABP Rocket Wrench allows the user to render safe unexploded munitions which incorporate a ‘screw-in’ fuze assembly attached by either a left or right hand thread. The Rocket Wrench is firmly attached to the fuze by means of Jaw Clamps and is set to rotation by means of two eccentrically mounted, electrically initiated 0.5” cartridges and as such is operated remotely, keeping the operator at a safe distance. The Rocket Wrench is designed to be used by Military, Police and other security forces for rendering safe conventional unexploded bombs or Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) housed in containers such as fire extinguishers or household gas canisters where the fuze is of a screw-in type. The Rocket Wrench Kit is supplied in a rugged Pelican Case and includes all the required tools for maintenance as well as a user handbook and a selection of additional spare parts. The kit also includes a ground stake and some bungee cords for use in situations when the equipment needs to be pulled clear.
